I like to schedule projects about a month out. That way you have plenty of time to compile your content or hire a copywriter.

If you indicated that you’re ready to work together, I will send you a proposal detailing what we discussed during your call and outlining the cost. If it all looks good you will sign the included contract and pay your deposit to book your spot in my calendar.

If during the call you seemed undecided, I’ll follow up a couple of dates later to see where you’re at, how you’re feeling and answer any unresolved questions you may have.

If you indicated on the call that you don’t want to work together, no hard feelings. I know my services aren’t the right fit for everyone. If this is the case, there is nothing else to do after our consult call.

After we chat, if we both feel this is a good fit, we’ll move forward with scheduling your project into my calendar. To save your spot on my calendar, you will need to sign a contract and pay a deposit of 33% of the total project price.

Once you’ve signed the contract and paid your deposit, I will send you some homework; questionnaires to help me understand you, your buisness, and your vision for this project and guided content planners to write the copy (words) and gather the images that will appear on your website.

Before I can even start building and designing, I need to really get to know you and your business. Then you will need to compile all of the content for your website (copy, images. etc.) Don’t worry you’re not on your own, I have created questionnaires and guides to help us get all of this foundational work done. Then once the build has begun, you will need to review it and make requests for any refinements you may want.

The web design and branding processes take 2 weeks each. A la carte services vary. Combo projects can take 3-6 weeks, depending on the complexities of the deliverables and services you require. Schedule a consult call to learn more.

To take your website live, you will need to purchase a plan from Squarespace. Check out Squarespace’s pricing.

Special features like e-commerce, scheduling, etc are an additional cost with Squarespace.

If you want any specific or special stock photos or fonts, there is often a one-time fee associated with these.

Squarespace is my preferred website building platform. It allows me to build your website the quickest and easiest. Also, most people can get the basics of the platform down and maintain their sites on their own. If that hasn’t convinced you, I do have experience with the Divi theme on WordPress, Webflow and Wix, as well.

Audit- A 1-hour one-on-one session where we can talk about anything you want. I can look over your website and give you advice, I can help you make simple fixes, or we can just chat about anything business, design, or website related.

Template Implementation- If you still want to work together, but you’re not ready to invest in a completely custom website, choose a template and and I can help you adapt it.

You can, but it’s harder than it looks. I have the experience, I know the platform inside and out, and how to achieve just about anything you ask for. Plus it will take a lot longer to DIY. And let’s be honest, you have better things to do.
